Book Processing Charges (BPCs)

As a non-profit, academic-led Open Access publisher, Pink Petals Publications prioritizes ensuring that high-quality academic books are freely accessible to readers worldwide. We firmly believe that access to scholarly work should not be contingent upon financial means. But, to cover the production, editing and publication along with the tech-support expenses, we charge a nominal fee as BPC. 

We encourage authors to seek funding from their universities or other sources to help cover the costs of publishing their books. However, it's important to note that our decision to accept a manuscript for publication is solely based on the outcome of our rigorous peer-review process, independent of the availability of funding. Authors who lack funding are still regularly published by us. Authors can mail us directly with their book proposal for a discount on our BPC or wave-off the BPC.

At Pink Petals Publications, we are committed to bringing your manuscripts to life through meticulous editing, professional design, and global distribution. To ensure the highest standards of publication, we apply a nominal Book Processing Charge (BPC) for each manuscript.

What Does the BPC Cover?

Our ₹10,000 (200 USD) Book Processing Charge covers the following:

• Manuscript Review & Editing: Expert review for language consistency, grammar, and formatting.
• Professional Layout & Design: Creation of visually appealing interior layouts and book cover designs.
• Publication Setup: Registration with ISBN and online listing on our platform.
• Post-Publication Maintenance: Continuous support for book availability and updates.
• Printing Support - We also provides print-on-demand for our authors from where authors can place their request to print their books. Authors can buy copies of their book, and in our POD model, authors will get 5 copies of their books at a free of cost. 

We accept payments in both INR and USD. Payment can be made through:

• Credit/Debit Card
• Net Banking
• International Payment Gateways (PayPal/Stripe)

How to Proceed?

1. Once your manuscript is approved, we will provide you with an invoice and payment link.
2. Upon receiving the payment, we will initiate the publishing process.
